The Kings Foundation – Garden Education Teacher CPD
Teachers have been asking what to do with their school garden so the Kings Foundation have developed a one day CPD workshop for teachers, primary and secondary, to join in the Education Garden at Dumfries House to learn both the practicalities of creating and maintaining a school garden for food and biodiversity as well as how the garden can be utilised in whole school, cross curricular education about food production, food waste, biology, art, engineering and beyond! We will cover planning, budgeting, sowing, transplanting, growing for biodiversity and planning lessons around the garden.
It is on the 8th of October and will go out in our August newsletter but please pass on to any teachers/educators/class room assistants that you feel would benefit from the day 😊 Tickets are available via our ticketsource.
