MHW L6 Units & SOLAR – UPDATE
Hi everyone,
Hope you’re all good.
I’m just following on from our level 6 update and US event with some further information. Unfortunately, things haven’t moved as quickly as we would like behind the scenes as there’s always loads of annual leave across various teams at this time of year, so we just haven’t been able to process as quickly as we hoped. It’s now unlikely units will be online before the Christmas break next week but they will be ‘live’ by 6th January.
The SOLAR assessments have been signed off and are undergoing user testing so still hopeful that they will be available before the Christmas holidays.
I’ll post another update on the blog when they have gone live.

Hi Holly,
The L6 units are being coded at the moment, so will be live very soon. Unfortunately, the holidays have slowed this process down a bit.

Hi there,
Just wondering if there will be an Understanding Standards event for the Level 6 this session? I am trying to deliver it to approximately 7 S6 pupils, who are looking to progress from their Level 5 award.
I have completed the OU Investigating Psychology Module and I will be working my way through their Understanding Mental Health and Counselling Module this session, but I worry I am either going into too much or not enough depth.

Unfortunately, there won’t be a understanding standards even this year for Level 6 as we won’t have any meaningful info or exemplars until next year when there has been a year of delivery and verification has taken place.
