Happy New Year to everyone. We hope that you had a nice holiday. This year is shaping up to be a busy year.
In February, we’re holding the 2020 Computing Conference in Stirling, which will be a much bigger event than usual. We’re hoping that up to 200 teachers attend. We’re also providing hands-on training for teachers of cyber security that month at various locations throughout Scotland.
We’re expecting NPA Data Science to be offered by a lot of centres next session (August) and we’re currently busy working on a range of support materials for that new qualification.
Two developments are on-going and one (major) development is about to commence. We’re currently developing PDA Cyber Security and PDA Data Science. Both will be available to centres from August. The long-awaiting HN Review is likely to be given the green light soon and that will be a large development, involving a suite of popular Higher National awards.
