Yammer network
Many of you will know that the team has been using mailing lists for a number of years to help with communication and collaboration. These services come and go and the last one to go was Groupspaces, which closed last year. These services are free and they’re generally unsustainable over a long period of time.
So we’ve decided to bring these communications in-house by using the SQA Computing network on Yammer. There are already over 300 members and we plan to use Yammer (exclusively) to support centres in future. There are groups for most qualifications such as NPA Cyber Security, NPA Data Science and Next Gen HN, where you will get support from us (SQA) and also from your peers. If you prefer to use e-mail, you can subscribe to individual groups so that you receive messages in your inbox.
This means that we will be moving our committees to Yammer. We previously used mailing lists to communicate with committee members (such as members of the Sector Panel) and this will now be done on Yammer.
Of course, you can still send us a message but Yammer will provide additional help and support. I hope you choose to join the network. Please contact Megan if you need any assistance.
