Updated Internet Safety material
I’m delighted to announce that SQA has, today, published updated learning material covering the revised Internet Safety Award. It seems appropriate that it’s been made available on Safer Internet Day 2017.
The material has been significantly updated to include the latest online threats (such as sexting) and also explains the best ways to protect yourself. It covers the entire National Unit. You can access the new material here. It’s available to everyone – there is no need to register with SQA Academy before using it.
The material is self-learning so we hope that you use it whether you undertake the qualification or not. But, if you work through the material, why not enter for the Internet Safety Award? That means that your learners will have their achievements recognised on their National Qualification Certificate – and also receive a separate Award certificate.
The availability of this material means that we’ve recently updated the unit, the assessment and, now, the learning material – so the whole curriculum is up-to-date. Please contact Emma is you want to know more about the Internet Safety Award.
