Have a good Summer
The team wish those of you who have just commenced their Summer holidays a nice break. I still miss my long Summer holidays – but I don’t miss the pressure points throughout term time.
We’re here over the Summer. Although each of us will take time here and there, we will be working for most of the Summer. It’s a good time for us since we can use it to catch up with the backlog of work. There’s plenty going on including the review of PC Passport, addressing the conditions from the validation of HNC/D Interactive Media, review of HNC/D Computer Games Development, and review of HNC/D Information Technology. That’s on top of many smaller developments such as the changes to Internet Safety.
Two vital tasks over the summer are to finalise the validation of HNC/D Interactive Media and to complete the support materials for PC Passport. We’ve also promised centres that the revised National Unit in Internet Safety will also be complete by August (the unit is but we’re working on the ASP and the e-learning material).
