Understanding Standards Event- Wednesday 11 September 2019

Are you delivering the Scottish Studies or Scots Language Awards? SQA will be holding an Understanding Standards event on Wednesday 11 September 2019 in Edinburgh. There will be opportunities to review candidate evidence, discuss the standards required, as well as to explore resources and possible contexts of delivery for these awards. This full-day event will be facilitated by both SQA staff and external verifiers.

I would encourage any teacher interested in Scots Language to get involved in the SQA Scots Language Award, whether they be Humanities teachers, English teachers, ASL teachers or any other teachers around the school with an interest in language, culture and respect. It gives the pupils so much confidence, it can only help with all their schooling. See a teacher viewpoint here:
