Next week, this year’s Edinburgh International Book Festival will be kicking off, with over a thousand authors, illustrators, poets and musicians appearing at over 800 events. A theme this year is Scottish Ideas: a series of events exploring a range of topics including hidden roads once used by armies, warriors and pilgrims; forgotten great Scottish women; urban landscapes; modern Scottish art and Scottish contributions to Victorian photography. Along with this, there will be over 200 fun and interactive events for children. Why not have a look at the full programme here?
