PC Passport review

I am meeting with Microsoft later today to discuss the new version of PC Passport (working title PC Passport 2016). So it seemed like a good time to update the FAQ. I know that many of you are interested in how this development is coming along and the FAQ should answer all of your questions at this time.

The qualification is on schedule to be available to centres in January 2016. We’re currently working on the Group Award Specification and the Unit Specifications, which are progressing well. We hope to conduct the validation in November.

Today’s meeting with Microsoft is one of a series of meetings to ensure that PC Passport 2016 is fully compatible with Microsoft Office Specialist. This will be one of many advantages of the revised award over the existing one, which include a simpler structure, mix-and-match Units (hierarchy) and much more up-to-date contents.

Contact Helen if you want to know more about the current or revised award.
