New report on digital skills

A new report, produced by the Edge Foundation, entitled The Digital Revolution [PDF], highlights the importance of digital skills to the UK economy. The report quotes Davos when it describes the current changes in society as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which I previously mentioned. It points out the significant changes in employment that are about to occur in most advanced economies – particularly the decline in administrative and manufacturing jobs, and the increase in technical positions. The report makes eight recommendations including that coding should be taught in primary schools by visiting programmers, that half of all school pupils should study Computer Science to GCSE level, and that Computer Science (or Design and Technology) should be offered in schools as an alternative to a mandatory foreign language.

This report is one of a number of recent reports that have pointed out the huge changes that are taking place in society, which will result in massive change in the nature of employment, and how education should respond.

a good report for the world to adjust

ust during the pandemic, digitalization took over the world. Of course, modern education cannot do without the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process. For example, during a pandemic, I decided to improve my English. I take personal lessons from the online tutor https://preply.com/en/skype/english-tutors. Now I am deepening my knowledge of English to communicate with people fluently.

Very informative post! This post has a lot of information here that can help me a lot.
