Data Science qualifications
I’m a member of a project board, which is part of the DDI initiative ran by the University of Edinburgh. The convener asked me to update members about the new Data Skills units.
I created a short presentation and, as part of that, I produced a slide that summarises all of the qualifications relating to data science.
The illustration shows the portfolio of data science qualifications available to centres. There’s now something spanning SCQF Level 3 to SCQF Level 9. We began these developments in 2018 and the addition of the new National Units probably brings qualification development in this area to a conclusion.
