It predicts a global reduction in employment (mostly in “routine manual” and “routine cognitive” jobs) but an increase in technology related jobs, particularly data analysts. The College Development Network (CDN) is currently carrying out some research into what colleges offer in the way of vendor certification. As part of their role in developing qualifications, Qualification Development Teams (QDTs) must also carry out research to check that their proposals have broad support across the sector.
