Annual update letters

I’ve been working on the update letter for non-advanced qualifications recently, and today I asked Helen to arrange for its distribution to centres. As many of you know, I send a letter about non-advanced awards (NU/NPA/NC) and a letter about advanced awards (HNU/HNC/HND/PDA) to centres every year. These letters summarise the developments that have taken place over the previous 12 months.

There is nothing in either letter that regular readers of this blog don’t already know. In fact, they contain a lot less information than what is provided here. It’s tempting to stop sending them and to use more contemporary means of communication (such as this blog) but I am aware that not every teacher and lecturer of Computing reads this blog. But, long term, the letters will stop. In the meantime, you can access a digital copy of the letter here.
