Computing Conference 2018
The team met this morning to discuss this year’s Computing Conference. We’ve been running an annual conference for around 20 years now. Last year we changed things a little and made it a conference for the lead person in each college but this year we will revert to an open conference so that anyone can attend. The focus, as always, will be vocational qualifications but we hope to have interesting keynotes about contemporary issues in computing.
The event will be of interest to college lecturers and school teachers – or anyone with an interest in vocational qualifications. We’ll take the opportunity to update you about all the developments that have taken place over the last year such as the updated NPAs, the forthcoming HNC Cyber Security and the range of support materials that are being developed.
The event will take place on Friday, 26 January so please reserve time in your diary if you are considering attending. The event will take place in Glasgow. Look out for more details in a future post.
