New subject blogs

I’ve mentioned previously that other subjects are about to launch their own blogs. These will be rolled out over the coming weeks. It’s all part of SQA’s engagement strategy with stakeholders. The landing page for all of the blogs is here. As you can see, the initial subject areas include: Health & Social Care, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences.

There was a training event this morning to show people how to use blogs. The training involved the use of WordPress (our new blogging platform) and advice about how and what to blog, which is where I came in. The Computing blog has been going a long time and was used as an example of how to use blogs.

In total, there will be nine subject blogs but it’s hoped that in time all subjects will have one. Contact Stuart to find out more about SQA’s blogging plans.
