Blog Newsletter and updates

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re all well. There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel with lockdown restrictions hopefully easing slightly this week…

I just wanted to let you know about an updates we’ve made to the blog. Subscribers will now receive a newsletter on a Friday which should highlight any new posts on the blog.

We also have some good news – The development of the award at Level 6 has begun!! The Qualification Design Team (QDT) met virtually for the first time last week and it was a really positive experience for everyone involved. Keep an eye on the blog and centre news for further updates regarding this development.

Cheers,

Calum

That is really exciting – we are keen to deliver the L6 when it is ready as have enjoyed delivering L4 and L5 this session 🙂

This is really exciting. We have just started delivering the N4/5 for our new timetable and I’ve already had some asking if a Level 6 is possible. Would love to see this continue it’s fantastic. Plus I am really enjoying delivering it (selfishly!)
Early days but do you know if staff would have to have a set qualification to teach Level 6 or would it be like other NPAs/Awards?

Hi Jenna and Hannah,

Thanks for your comments – it’s great to hear that people are excited about the L6 award.

The L6 would be exactly the same as the award at L4 and L5 – there would be no requirement for a teacher to have a specific qualification to deliver.

Cheers
