Welcome back
I’d like to offer a belated welcome back. I’ve recently returned to work after taking a post-Christmas holiday.
The team has a busy year coming up. We’re in the middle of developing a new National Progression Award in Data Science, which is progressing well. This will be available to schools, colleges and training centres from August. We’re also producing more support materials for NPA Cyber Security, which is popular in Scottish schools. Please contact Lorraine about these projects. The HN Review is about to commence, which will update a suite of popular Higher National awards. We’re looking for members of the QDT for that development, if you’re interested. HND Cyber Security is currently in development. A team of writers is currently producing the units for that award. And we’re about to explore the feasibility of developing a new HNC/D Data Science. Please contact Caitlin about this work.
The annual Computing Conference is coming up next week. There’s still time to register if you’re interested.
