PDAs Data Science – Update
As things start to settle down and we become more used to life and work in lockdown, it is probably a good time to give you an update on the PDA Data Science. We have just concluded the unit writing training for this development, which took place last week. We held the training via Microsoft Teams and Bobby and I delivered the training over a 90-minute session. I am pleased to say that it worked well and, consequently, we may consider doing online training from now on.
We will be producing a total of 12 new units as part of this development. Please find below the list of units that will be developed over the coming weeks:

Some of the units may be incorporated to other HN frameworks, such as Working with Data at SCQF level 7, which will be added to HNC Computing.
The units will be available to centres for next academic session, ie from August 2020, but I will be providing regular updates on progress via the blog.
