Launch event for support materials for NPA Cyber Security

As regular readers will know, we’ve been developing teaching, learning and assessment material to support the NPA Cyber Security for some time. We recently completed draft versions of the materials and we’re currently piloting this material in 20 centres across Scotland.

Once the pilot is complete, we will finalise the material and have a formal launch event on Tuesday, 19 June in Glasgow. The aim of the event is to let you see what’s available to help you deliver the qualification. The material includes:

  • Educator’s Guide
  • Learners’ Notes
  • Practical activities
  • Formative assessments.

Attendees will receive bound, paper versions of the materials, and the event will contribute to your CPD record. Event registration isn’t open yet but please add this date to your diary if you’re interested in attending. More details will follow in the near future.

I will be very grateful for a bound copy of these notes. I can see how far, if at all, I have been setting my own {and others} materials to my level 4 and 5 courses this year.
I look forward to the event and hope I can receive an invitation for the 19th June.
Please ensure you have invitations for J Porter and J Lawrence from Queen Victoria School on your list.
