CPD events in cyber security for college lecturers

I previously mentioned that the Digital Skills Partnership (DSP) planned to provide CPD to college lecturers who want to know more about cyber security in general and the new HNC Cyber Security qualification in particular. I’ve now received more information about these events.

14 November at Edinburgh College: Introduction to Cyber Security presented by Bill Buchanan of Napier University and Federico Charosky of Quorum Cyber. You can book online here.

21 November at Glasgow Clyde College: Introduction to Cyber Security presented by George Weir of Strathclyde University and David Stubley of 7 Elements. You can book online here.

28 November (webinar): Introduction to Digital Forensics delivered by Eamonn Keane of Police Scotland. You can book online here.

The first two events will also cover the assessments within NPA Cyber Security.

The events look great. They are ideal for college teachers — particularly if you currently (or plan to) teach the HNC or NPA Cyber Security.

Please contact Lesley if you want to know more about these events. Contact Lorraine if you want to know more about the NPA. Contact Caitlin if you want to know more about the HNC.
