Working with SQA

This seems a good time of the year to remind you about opportunities to work with SQA. One of the unique features of Scottish qualifications is the way that we work with stakeholders. We don’t hand down qualifications from on-high – we develop them in conjunction with practitioners, which includes teachers, lecturers, trainers and employers. There are lots of things that you could do for us – ranging from writing assessments to leading a development. Most of the work is paid and all of it is important.

We try to be as transparent as possible in the way we select people to work with us. We like to mix experience with “new blood” so don’t be shy about getting involved if you have no previous experience. Everyone has to start somewhere. If you are interested in working with us, please complete this form and also look out for opportunities via this blog and also via Twitter. Speaking of which, don’t forget to follow us on Twitter. Every opportunity will be tweeted so, if you follow us, you will be sure to know when opportunities arise.

Please contact Emma if you require any assistance with the form.
